The prequalification process
In order to qualify for a Request For Quotation (RFQ) in connection with Missionpharma's logistics projects, the IFF must be prequalified by Missionpharma by going through the following four steps:
|
As stated above, prequalification involves submitting a detailed Request for Information (RFI), which must be duly completed and returned to Missionpharma.
This questionnaire forms the basis for evaluating if a forwarder can be prequalified as a Missionpharma-appointed forwarder.
|
Once prequalified, the forwarder is qualified to receive RFQs from Missionpharma within the relevant freight service categories (view categories above). It is important to note that not all forwarders receive our RFQ even though they are prequalified within a specific category.
Following competitive procedures Missionpharma's Logistics Officers select IFFs who are prequalified within relevant service categories prior to sending out the RFQ. Depending on the size of the project, we normally send out RFQs to two-four forwarders.
