Founded as a one-man organization in 1975 by the late Mr. Poul Ginnerup, Missionpharma has grown considerably, both in size as well as in activities. 

Our original objective of supplying low-cost generic pharma-ceuticals to missionary clinics associated with the Scandinavian churches has since expanded, now making us one of the world’s leading suppliers of generic pharmaceuticals and medical devices to governments, United Nation agencies and NGOs in developing countries.

Prime activities

Now celebrating our 30^th anniversary, we are proudly one of the leaders within the field of generic pharmaceuticals, employing more than 160 people worldwide and having representatives in several countries.

One of our primary objectives is to provide safe and affordable generic medicine and medical devices, which will contribute to the improvement of health standards of millions of people around the world.

Expertise and customised products
We feel a special commitment towards our customers. Over the years, our staff has acquired an extensive knowledge of products and special applications, keeping in step with the times while remaining faithful to our tradition of quality and high service level.

We have also gained extensive experience in the planning and execution of non-standard projects such as special product labelling, the supplying of packing lists and booklets in local languages, special packaging and transportation solutions as well as on-site consulting. Read more

Global activities

Headquartered in Denmark, we serve customers in more than 80 countries around the world from one of our offices in Denmark, India or Africa.

Complete packing facilities are established in Denmark as well as in India, thereby increasing the competitiveness and flexibility in the services we offer to our customers. We are therefore able to pack and ship products from our Danish warehouse and from a location closer to the manufacturers.

Furthermore, in order to optimize sourcing of Chinese products and ensure the local contact with our Chinese suppliers, we have established a procurement office in Shanghai.

To ensure global consistency in our services, we have implemented a complete standardisation of all working procedures in all our offices.
