PharmaDanica

PharmaDanica A/S is a fully owned subsidiary to Missionpharma, and the two companies share administrative premises in Lynge.

Since the foundation in 1996, the core activities of PharmaDanica have been the manufacturing of high-quality generic pharmaceuticals.

The majority of products included in PharmaDanica's product range are packed in consumer packs and primarily sold on private markets around the world. It is via PharmaDanica that Missionpharma is present on the private market.

Virogates

In July 2003 Missionpharma joined a co-operation agreement with the Danish biotech company, ViroGates – the inventor of suPARnostic; a new and simple test used to optimise the timing of HIV treatment.

The suPARnostic is used by clinicians to determine which patients should be treated and when, thus reducing incidences of drug resistance and saving lives by administering treatment on time.

Missionpharma actively supports the development of suPARnostic by partnering on promotion activities. We use our comprehensive distribution network to make this effective, inexpensive and easy-to-use tool available to patients on the African continent.

SuPARnostic is expected to be ready on the market by the end of 2007.
