USAID partnership
Missionpharma is proud to announce that we were recently approved by the USAID (United States Agency for International Development) to supply pharmaceutical products, excl. ARVs, to the PEPFAR program (President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief).
The basis of this approval is a source/origin waiver, which has been introduced to promote increased efficiency in the use of U.S. foreign assistance resources.
USAID inspectors have performed on-site inspection of Missionpharma and concluded that our QA/QC system fully complies with Stringent Regulatory Authority (SRA) requirements.
The SRAs designated by USAID is usually a national drug regulatory authority (NDRA), which closely resembles FDA in its operations. The NDRAs designated by the USAID all participate in the International Conference on Harmonization (ICH), and they are:
Therefore, we consider this approval an important step for Missionpharma as our QA/QC level is found fully in compliance with international standards.
