Re-inspection of Missionpharma
Recently, Missionpharma was again inspected and approved for GDP compliance according to the Danish regulations. The approval is a renewal of the approval from 2003 and is the result of a regular inspection carried out every two years by the Danish Medicines Agency.
The approval is solely granted to distributors who satisfy the regulations laid down by the Danish Medicines Agency on professional knowledge, organisation and operation. Consequently, the distributor conforms to the requirements for good distribution practices (GDP) as recommended by the European Community.
Missionpharma has fully incorporated the requirements of current GDP which, among other things, comprise:
-
Consistent procedures throughout the Good Distribution Practice system
-
Safe and conforming quality products
-
Correct handling of products during storage and distribution
-
Full batch and kit/batch tracking from manufacturer to customer
-
Inspection of quality control system, quality assurance system and warehouses
Missionpharma’s current GDP approval is valid until November 2007.
