Kit packing project in Kenya

The logistical setup was established and supervised by our specialised and experienced mobile kit packing team, which was stationed in Kenya for a three-months period.

A fully equipped local Missionpharma warehouse and office area facilitated customs clearance, consolidation of goods, packing and in-country distribution. In addition to the Missionpharma kit packing team, 110 local workers were employed full time during the entire period.

The project comprised:

		International procurement.
		Customs clearance of goods.
		Renting of warehouse in Nairobi, which conformed to international standards for storing pharmaceuticals and medical devices.
		Supply of equipment for kit productions; i.e. conveyer line, strapping machine, staple guns, pallet trolleys and fork lift.
		Installation of complete IT solution.
		Employment of local working force.
		Four Missionpharma employees stationed in Kenya for a period of three months.
		Packing, labelling and dispatch of 25.000 medical kits.
