Global Fund Compliance List
On 30 September 2005, the Global Fund announced changes in the Quality Assurance policy related to procurement of single and limited-source pharmaceutical products.
The Global Fund has developed a a list of products and manufacturers compliant with the new requirements (the Global Fund Compliance List).
The list aims at assisting countries conducting procurement of single and limited source pharmaceuticals and accessing the information required to comply with the Global Fund criteria in terms of Quality Assurance.
The Global Fund's policy regarding the eligibility of single and limited-source medicines for purchase with Global Fund resources conditions eligibility on several factors, including purchase at the lowest possible price following competitive tender and consistency with national and international law.
