ARV pricing guide
Once per year, Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) issues a report, which contains information on prices and suppliers of ARV products.
The report is called “Untangling the web of price reductions - a pricing guide for the purchase of ARVs for developing countries”. Click here to view the 9th edition of the report.
The report was first published by MSF in October 2001 as a response to the lack of transparent and reliable information about prices of pharmaceutical products on the international market.
The report provides information on prices and suppliers (originators as well as generic manufacturers) and evaluates the general patent and access situation thus helping purchasers to make informed decisions when buying ARVs (antiretrovirals).
