This is a major accomplishment for us, as the entire organisation, on all levels, has been working intensively with the project.
We took the strategic decision to ISO certify Missionpharma in order to secure a consistent customer-oriented approach in all our activities.
Customer satisfaction is a key priority to us and by implementing formalised systems for collecting and measuring customer satisfaction, we secure a constant focus on the customer.
|
By involving the entire organisation and setting up formalised measurement systems, we feel confident that we have the best foundation for ensuring continual improvement of our products and services.
Attaining ISO certification from Bureau Veritas has been a very exciting and educational process for Missionpharma involving all business procedures as well as people across the organisation.
We are convinced that our customers, suppliers and partners will benefit from the improved consistency in the quality level of our products and services.
Bureau Veritas Certification
Being the world's leading certification body delivering over 100,000 certificates, we selected the internationally recognized Bureau Veritas Certification as our certification partner.
Working internationally, it is important for us to use the same partner to certify all parts of our organisation, and therefore Bureau Veritas was also the partner we used in the recent GDP-certification of Missionpharma Logistics India.

FACTS ON ISO
ISO 9000 is a family of standards for Quality Management systems. ISO 9000 is maintained by ISO, the International Organization for Standardization, and is administered by accreditation and certification bodies.
Some of the elements in ISO 9000:2001 include:
-
Description and formalisation of all key processes in the business.
-
Definition and monitoring of clear objectives (Key performance Indicators) throughout the system.
-
Establishment of a system for corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to ensure continuous improvement.
-
Systems for measuring customer satisfaction.
-
Maintenance of adequate records and measurements.
-
Regular internal audits of systems and processes.
-
Training and Human Resource tools.
-
Active involvement of top management in the evaluation of the systems and findings.
An annual re-auditing by Bureau Veritas is mandatory in order to maintain the ISO status.

Complete Quality Management
Since the very beginning, Missionpharma Denmark has conformed to Good Distribution Practices (GDP) in all our activities. Very recently, our Indian subsidiary, Missionpharma Logistics India also received GDP certification when it was certified by Bureau Veritas for being in accordance with GDP.
GDP is a standard that mainly focuses on the quality-related aspects of the product. By having obtained an ISO 9000:2001 certification, we now have a complete Quality Management system covering the entire organisation.
In addition to the re-audit of our GDP systems, which the Danish Medicines Agency conducts once every three years, our systems are re-audited on an annual basis by Bureau Veritas as required by ISO.
Furthermore, our global facilities are regularly inspected by important organisations within the health field.
We are very proud of our status as an ISO and GDP-certified company, which we consider important competitive parameters for Missionpharma.
