Donation of one IEHK to Ministry of Health, Zambia

The recent heavy rain in Zambia has caused a difficult situation in the country, where people living in the flooded regions are in high risk of being infected by cholera and other deadly diseases. Meeting the health care needs of these people is a huge challenge.

Being one of the most important suppliers of essential medicines and medical equipment, Missionpharma has decided to immediately donate one complete Interagency Emergency Health Kit (IEHK) to Ministry of Health in Zambia.

The IEHK is a pre-packed medical kit, containing life-sustaining medicine and medical supplies. A single kit contains medicines and medical devices to supply 10,000 people for three months.

The kit is composed, packed and delivered according to WHO guidelines and is designed to meet the first primary healthcare needs of a displaced population without medical facilities. One kit contains 190 different products packed in 36 cartons.
